As a curious mind I have spent most of my life asking a lot of questions. Over time I finally found a way to make it a career.
Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska it was here I was introduced to documentary storytelling from an editing perspective and immediately fell in love with it. Ever since I have been working to learn and improve my editing and storytelling skills in any way I can.
A senior at Emerson College studying Media Arts Production, I have found ways to collaborate with people from around the globe, listening to their stories and learning from their brilliant ideas. During the middle of my sophomore year I was introduced to the world of theater, quickly diving headfirst assisting on student run shows. Over time my questions on the subject became immense and I was inspired to create my documentary, where I was able speak with many people on the subject and am working to create a story that helps others learn as well.
It was this documentary that brought me out further out of my editing focus and introduced me to the filmmaking process as a whole, and I continue to be confident that the path I am taking is the right one. When working through all stages of production I am consistently inspired by what I learn and see, helping me produce even better work.
I strive to surround myself with an environment that is just as curious as I am, so outside of work and school I can often be found biking, skiing, and reading all of which inspire me daily.
